At Places for People, we’re delivering new homes alongside skilled and like-minded joint venture partners.
Our placemaking approach has helped us forge relationships with a fantastic array of likeminded partner organisations; Ilke Homes, Urban Splash, ModularWise and Trivselhus are just some of the collaborators with whom we are shaping the future of the housing industry in the UK, making high quality housing accessible and affordable for more people, and creating large-scale neighbourhoods led by placemaking.
We also work together with local authorities all over the UK, creating new people-centered communities; at Port Loop in Birmingham, which is one of the UK's most significant brownfield regeneration schemes, we're working in partnership with Urban Splash, Birmingham City Council and the Canal & River Trust, to develop 1,150 new homes along with commercial property and community facilities across the once derelict site.
And further north at Smith’s Dock in North Tyneside, we are dramatically transforming a historic dockyard on the banks of the River Tyne, into more than 800 new homes and a thriving community of commercial space, retail areas and public spaces for local people to enjoy.
By working together with forward looking organisations like these, we are able to develop more great places and transform communities in an effective and sustainable way.
